わたしの考えはこうである。

少ししかまかない者は、少ししか刈り取らず、

豊かにまく者は、豊かに刈り取ることになる。

各自は惜しむ心からではなく、また、しいられてでもなく、

自ら心で決めたとおりにすべきである。

神は喜んで施す人を愛して下さるのである。

神はあなたがたにあらゆる恵みを豊かに与え、

あなたがたを常にすべてのことに満ちたらせ、

全ての良いわざに富ませる力のあるかたなのである。

But this I say, He that soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly;

and he that soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

Let each man do according as he hath purposed in his heart: not grudgingly, or of necessity:

for God loveth a cheerful giver.

And God is able to make all grace abound unto you;

that ye, having always all sufficiency in everything, may abound unto every good work:
